Ipswich Weekender

Saltshaker will be playing some blues acoustically on the Ipswich Waterfront as part of the two day Ipswich Weekender event on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th. But on the 24th September we’ll be three, as Ben Diffley will be joining us on percussion.
Organised by Ipswich Borough Council in partnership with the University of Suffolk, the “Welcome to Ipswich Weekender” will take place on Ipswich Waterfront, with live music, food and drink, fairground rides, a marketplace, stalls from local businesses, and other activities.
Celebrating Freshers’ Week for new students, the University will be hosting spoken word performances from 10am on Saturday. Also, throughout the weekend, Stephen Foster will host his Weekend Music Mix with performances from Connor Adams, Lucky No.7, Kev Walford, Blues Situation, and many more great acts!
